A mother and daughter are both studying on our programme. The daughter just passed her Learner Licence Test this week and her mother went out for her practical drive before booking her Full Licence Test.
Another member of the family was one of my best students in prison. He phoned me the week of his release last year for assistance and passed his practical driving test two weeks later.
This aligns with our licences for the whanau approach in the community – get everyone a driver licence and assist them right through to a Full Licence. Imagine if every family had this assistance!
