A new student started by the beginning of 2020- referred by NZ Police for driving without a licence. He is 50% hearing impaired in one ear and has very low hearing in the other ear. In addition he cannot read English or his native Samoan language.
Today he started in class with his wife on one side of him and his mother-in-law on the other and they both alternately read and explained the Learner Driver licence questions and answers to him so he could learn and prepare for his test.
It was quite amazing to watch and he finished the class happy and winning as a student! Anything is possible when there is a strong purpose!
